Words have the power to shape our reality
I am a mountain-raised writer whose love languages are cut flowers and thunder storms. Shaped from an early age by the beauty and wonder of the natural world, silence, sound, vivid precision, and sensory detail characterize my writing. A strong belief that our words manifest things in the world and minds of others drives it. My writing roots are in poetry, but I am partial to lyric and fragmented essays, hoping to dedicate myself to more longform in the future.
I began writing in high school and started a lifestyle brand and magazine with some friends in college. Upon graduation I worked finding and telling stories of missionaries serving in Europe. I am now a Flash (fiction and CNF) reader for Newfound in while ever continuing to seek publishing opportunities of my own.
With an already diverse body of published work, I am an evolving author, eager to engage passionately and creatively with the world.

What can I do for you?
Let's make magic!
As an artist at heart, I love literary magazines, essay collections, and all creative collaborations utilizing poetry or the written word. Contributing to your publication or project would be a joy for me!
As someone who values people and life, I love telling stories and facilitating growth, learning, and understanding in all genres and mediums. Helping you communicate with your audience would be a privilege.
Whether you need an editor, content writer, curator, creative mind, or advocate, I'd love to talk with you!
What am I working on now?
I'm sporadically revisiting a longform essay I began a few years back, exploring the closure and reopen of Sweet Briar College (where I attended my freshman year of undergrad), interviewing Bosnian war refugees and soldiers, and developmental editing the manuscript of an up-and-coming fiction author. I also design florals (see portfolio or book a workshop here)! And as part of participating in creative community, I also collaborate with fine art and lifestyle photographers.
